Organisers of the International Student Film Festival (ISFF) has officially called for submissions of films made by students of film-learning institutions in Africa and beyond.

The International Student Film Festival (ISFF) is a unique film festival setup by legendary Dr. Amb. Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen; It is designed to travel from one campus to another to make up her editions while engaging in activities such as hands-on/practical master classes, industry panel sessions, film screenings, performance night and more.

The student dedicated festival is scheduled to take place from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th of September 2023, at Igbenidion University, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria.

Interested and eligible filmmakers such as students from Departments of Theatre Arts, Mass Communication, Film Studies, and the likes in higher institutions of learning are to enter their audio-visual works by simply uploading a HD format file(s) (main film, trailer, BTS shots, poster, headshot of director) to a non quality diminishing online platform such as Google Drive, and subsequently forward the link(s) with film description, key cast and crew to internationalstudentfilmfestiv@gmail.com.

While all submissions have been made free by the organizers in order to encourage a wider range of participation, the early bird deadline is fixed for June 29th 2023; the regular deadline, July 29th 2023; and late deadline, August 29th 2023, to create a relaxed and appropriate consideration by the independent members of the ISFF Jury.

Award categories includes but may not be limited to Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Best Documentary Film, Best Director, Best Male Actor, Best Female Actor, Best Cinematographer, Best Editor, and Best Costumer.
